"Multi Species bio-diversity Nursery (Nursery/Plantation)"

Under this activity,after multi species bio-diversity nursery has been established in three project areas atSolukhumbu, Sindhuli&Mahottari, the overall nursery tunnel has been taken care by well-trained nursery caretaker. Mostly, they are responsible for multiplying the supplied plants by grafting or cutting, sowing of provided seeds in nursery bed, transferring of plants into polybags, collecting fertile soil from forest area for preparing organic manure, watering of plants, thinning and pruning, collecting locally available seeds and sowing, weeding inside and outside the tunnel, preparing nursery bed for further propagation of seeds, nurturing plants by providing necessary care, management of disease in plants and insect-pests, protecting the nursery area fromanimals so as to prevent damage, etc.
