Discussion Programme with Parliamentarians

INHURED International has conducted discussion programmes with parliamentarians on 3rd October, 2016, in Kathmandu.  Moreover, INHURED is conducting discussion programmes with parliamentarians on 26th October, 2016 in Sindhuli and on 28th October, 2016, in Ramechhap for the implementation of the Mitigate Conflict and Improve Implementation of Gender and Social Inclusion (GESI) Policies through a People-to-People Approach in Nepal (CMM-GESI). Furthermore, we are going to conduct three more discussion programmes of the same nature in Kaski, Kailali and Achham in the first and second weeks of November.

The main objective of the discussion programme is to advocate for reforms on GESI laws and policies based on the gaps and challenges identified by two distinct assessments, namely,  'Comprehensive assessment of Nepal’s international commitments and obligations to promote GESI ' and 'Comprehensive assessments of the implementation of the national legal and policy framework relating to GESI at district level'.
